Jolla Design Co. officially opened its doors in the fall of 2021—yet its roots stretch back years before that, to countless coffee dates, park afternoons, and shared dreams between Emily and Melissa. What began as two friends imagining a boutique they themselves would love to shop has since become a curated space where beauty, connection, and intentional living meet.

Our Story

Melissa, wife to Tim and mother of three —relocated from Georgia to Pennsylvania in 2017. Though she spent years as an elementary school teacher, her heart was always drawn to fashion. Jolla Design Co. became the realization of a lifelong dream: to build something meaningful, creative, and her own.

Emily, wife to Adam and mother of two girls, brings her background in fashion and business to the partnership. A graduate of the Art Institutes with a degree in Fashion Marketing, Emily’s lifelong passion for design and creativity continues to shape the vision and curation of Jolla Design Co.

The Name Behind the Brand

The name “Jolla” holds deep meaning. It represents the names of our children—Jubilee, Owen, Layla, Lucy, and Annaliese—the inspiration behind everything we do. Family is the heartbeat of our brand, a reminder that life’s most beautiful moments are found in connection, purpose, and presence.
